Snow is beautiful at this stage–it looks so innocent and harmless. Then it deepens and grows and refuses to leave . . . (or at least that’s my experience!)
Beautiful photographs Margaret. I wish I could have some silence but there is a constant background noise of the river raging below in the valley. Still it beats the A47!
An excellent interpretation of the challenge.

Ever notice when after it snows, the scenery is transformed from colour to black and white, especially in a photo. Very peaceful looking. cheers.

You’re right. I tried them in black and white. It made almost no difference.

Definitely. The river formed a backdrop to our life in Laroque. I wouldn’t have been without it.

This place seems like a winter wonderland, Margaret! Finding peace and quiet is so rare now. You’re definitely lucky. 😉

Beautiful…and there is something so peaceful and soothing when you can awaken to a gentle snowfall. I have always loved snow.

Me too. Slush though, and dark brown snow at the edge of the road doesn’t work so well.

It was until you got out into the real world of traffic, slush and holdups …
