An apology

This blogging from Korea malarkey is turning into a nightmare. Posts get published, or not, according to the whim of who-knows-who? Photos are worse. Sometimes they appear, sometimes they vanish, then reappear, from an already-published post. Facebook users have the added joy of seeing the same pictures of the Ariège every time one of my posts appears.

It was never supposed to be this stressful.

So pictures I’d like you to see will appear, but back in England, when I shan’t have to contend with a not-so-very smartphone.

  1. I can only imagine how frustrating it is! But I confess it has made me laugh, especially when I saw the Korean lady nestling next to the French sheep and laughing man!
    Thought about you when catching up with Jamie Oliver’s new Superfood TV programme – he was wandering around a Korean market admiring all the kimchi. Thanks to you I already knew all about it. x

  2. Deep breaths! Deep cleansing breaths. I remember when I first started blogging – I really had no idea what I was doing. I had no followers so it was no big deal, the only folks reading the blog were my wife and kids and my mom. I was in Paris for a week with my brothers and step-mother to spread my father’s cremains in France and I was blogging each day – writing a post with photos and all. It drove my brother nuts – I was up late every night with the light on but each day a new post popped up. Wi-fi was hit or miss, but I had my laptop, I can only imagine what a challenge it would be on a smartphone. Hang in there and enjoy your trip. There is always time for blogging when yoiu return. Peace.

  3. Ah the stress of technology – not something needed on a trip! I’ve been impressed at what you’ve managed on your smartphone and seem to have missed any mix ups – enjoy the rest of your trip and look forward to hearing from you later.

  6. Technology is great when it works and we know what we’re doing – which I don’t most of the time! Enjoy your final week – I have learnt a lot from your posts if that is any consolation?
